Maxim Ivanov is a world-famous, qualified strength skating and player skill development coach with over 12 years of experience in the NHL. Maxim is a 3-time Stanley Cup winner as a strength skating and player development coach for the NHL teams Pittsburgh Penguins (2016), Pittsburgh Penguins (2017), Florida Panthers (2024). Maxim is also the winner of the Gagarin Cup with the KHL team Avangard Omsk in 2021. 
Maxim is the coach of the NHL team Florida Panthers and the head coach at the International Hockey School ICE HOCKEY PRO which has been operating in more than 20 countries for more than 15 years.
The main direction of his work is concentration on
improving skating and puck handling skills for beginning hockey players, young athletes and professionals around the world. Maxim has exclusive experience working in the NHL for more than 10 years, and also has the opportunity to work in more than 20 countries around the world.
Due to this experience, his system of work allows a hockey player to acquire skills in a more correct, modern and progressive manner. Working closely with NHL players every day throughout the year, he sees how to train a young athlete in order to eliminate the mistakes that professional players have today, and so that the young athlete is more successful in his hockey career.

I'll tell you what I like most about Max. We have eight coaches on our staff. And each of them does something completely special, different from the others. First of all, Max is responsible for the development of individual qualities in players. But at the same time he does a lot of work with video.
It has a uniqueness and it fits perfectly with what guys need and what they want.
When I joined the team, I didn’t know him. And I only saw that he personally works with Sasha Barkov. Spends time with him on the ice before and after each training session. And then we started talking to him about hockey. And I realized that he had a keen eye! He looks at the game differently than I do. I don’t notice the things that he sees.
